Who are the
Lake House people?
A native of the Comox Valley, Ann
grew up in the hospitality industry. Her family built and operated Oyster River Cottages
at nearby Saratoga Beach

tabby recently liberated from the SPCA. Much to his chagrin, he's not permitted in the
guest suite. |
through the 1950’s and 1960’s, and Ann went on to
employment in several major hotels. She has recently retired from working as a
Communications Manager at BC Ferries.
A trained cook with Foodsafe
certification, Bill is a natural for the Lake House operation. His ready smile
and friendly manner immediately put guests at ease. Bill has recently retired from working
security in the Comox Valley. Both partners have successfully completed the provincial
Superhost program.
Both Bill and Ann have traveled
extensively, but now that the children have gone, summer evenings will often find them on
the lakeside patio enjoying a glass of their excellent home produced wine – greeting
passing boaters or enjoying the sunset.
On a more lively note, both these
two ride motorcycles, and together they spend many happy hours "in the wind".
